42-year-old Jarnail Singh was admitted to The Corporate Hospital in Gurdaspur, India, a few days ago with complaints of abdomen pain and weakness. And rightfully so.
Great delicacy. A team of surgeons were astonished when they discovered he had swallowed not one, not two, but 40 knives over the last two months because he liked the way they tasted.
Worst surgical operation ever. One of the five surgeons on hand, Dr Jitinder Malhotra, branded it as the most dreadful surgery he had seen in the last 20 years of practicing.
Luckily for the man, after swallowing 40 metal knives, and after 5 grueling hours of dangerous surgery, all knives where extracted and he is expected to make a full recovery.
