Even though she was a little drunk, for her it was love at first sight. A bit like a fairytale don't you think?
Victoria Beckham has admitted things were a bit "hazy" when she first laid eyes on David after a few drinks - but she's adamant it was love at first sight.
When Victoria Beckham met David Beckham lightning struck. The former member of the Spice Girls was introduced to the footballing legend at the height of the band's fame in 1997 - when she attended a charity football match with Mel C aka Sporty Spice.
It was then that Victoria first set eyes on David – and it was hardly your average case of beer goggles.

"While the other football players stand at the bar drinking with their mates, you will see David standing aside with his family.

"And he has such a cute smile. You, too, are close to your family, and you will think how similar he feels to you.
"He's going to ask for your number. (He still has the London-to-Manchester plane ticket on which you wrote it.)"
The Becks have had one of the most stable celebrity marriages. They might have had their ups and downs over the years, but it still sounds like a fairytale romance.
