Trump offers Sylvester Stallone role in his administration
Celebrity Galore. The 45th President of the United States is gearing up for his fast approaching tenure. And who better to add to his list of advisors than legendary Hollywood actor Stallone.
In a sleek move, Donald Trump offered Sylvester Stallone a role in his administration.
The new White House boss has reportedly asked the Rocky actor to be responsible for managing an agency which gives out funding to artists and creative projects. A very important role for the growth and maintenance of American culture.
Unlike some of his peers, the star has never ventured into politics. But if he takes the job as Chairman of the National Endowment for the Arts, it means Stallone, 70, would become one of the senior officials shaping culture in the US.
He is liking the idea. According to the Daily Mail, the actor is leaning towards saying yes, but hasn’t made a decision on whether he wants to take it.
It's something he has had on his mind. He has discussed going into politics in the past, and previously said: ‘I love Donald Trump. He’s a great Dickensian character.
‘There are certain people like Arnold, Babe Ruth, that are bigger than life. But I don’t know how that translates to running the world.’
Not a staunch politics fan. He backed John McCain for president in 2008, but isn’t a card carrying member of the Republican Party.
If Trump makes a formal offer, it would have to be approved by Congress before it goes ahead.
We loved Stallone for decades, and It might be great for the Rambo star to dive in and save American culture once again —just like in his movies.
