Horror exorcism as woman tortured to death by healers
Recently an exorcism went crazy and then painfully tragic as a woman died while spiritual healers were casting out evil spirits from her.
The woman was tortured to death after being tied upside down and set blaze by two so-called ‘faith healers’.
They believed in brutalizing the body to heal the mind and spirit. They claimed she was possessed by Djinns – evil spirits – and proceeded to beat, torture and burn her during the ill-fated exorcism.
Soraiya’s husband reportedly begged them to stop, as he couldn’t bear to see his wife go through such a horrific ordeal. One would wonder what he expected when he took her to them in the first place instead of the hospital.
His pleas were too late. Tragically, she was pronounced dead on arrival at the hospital.

It was mental illness not evil spirits. Psychiatrists in Pakistan have since said that, judging from the symptoms she had apparently been exhibiting, Soraiya was likely suffering from schizophrenia.
The healers are reported to be on the run with police hunting lthem.
