In shocking fashion, former Spice Girls Mel B split from husband of 10 years Stephen Belafonte.  Of course Celebrity divorces are something we see alot in the often tumultuous lives of the stars, but what makes this story truly shocking is how Scary Spice was gushing about her beloved on Instagram only a few weeks ago! Yes a lot can change in a few weeks.

Alot of people feel social media is a great way to know what's really going on in other people's lives. They're wrong. Social media stories and posts are only as true as the posters want them to look. And when it comes to celebrities, these posts can change with the frequency of the ocean on a wind swept day!

It's over. The former Spice Girl has reportedly decided to end her marriage with the 41-year-old film producer Stephen Belafonte at the end of last year.

Court documents obtained by E! News say Mel called off the relationship citing “irreconcilable differences” and is requesting for spousal support to Stephen to be terminated.

But most people aren't aware that Mel B filed for separation from Stephen as far back as  December 28, 2016.

A child in the middle of all this. Mel is now asking for joint legal and physical custody for their five-year-old daughter Madison.

Now here is the shocker—  News of the divorce filing will come as a huge shock to fans as Mel recently shared a picture of her husband on Instagram six weeks ago where she called Stephen her “world”. Can you imagine that?  And now she's divorcing her 'world'

Check out this heartwarming Instagram post—Captioning the photo, she wrote: “My baby boo @stephenthinks11 we have been through everything that would normally tear couples apart and we have come out on the other side stronger …

“You loved me before I even new how to really love myself,you are my world honey and let’s not forget you are abit of a d***head too xxxx #tenyearsmarried #fightfortheineyoulove #theysaiditwouldntlast #bitcheswishtheyhadthis #nowtalkaboutme (sic)”

Recently, Scary Spice lost her Dad Martin Brown to Cancer, and is in a traumatic state as she tries to deal with the loss, and repair relations with her mother.
