So when you hear The Rock Dwayne Johnson for Us President, don't be too surprised.  The former wrestler turned Hollywood blockbuster  movie actor, continues to entertain the possibility of challenging President Donald Trump for the White House in 2020. And after all the controversy surrounding Trump, alot of people might want a whiff of something new—or something different and better. 

The big man made himself clear recently during an appearance on The Tonight Show. Johnson told Jimmy Fallon that he has been astonished and flattered at the public’s reaction to a statement he made last week in which he said he would consider running for the president. People were really excited by his remark and showed they were behind him if he chose to take that road.

‘I’ve been really been blown away,’ Johnson said.

‘And it’s so flattering. And I think you have to question why.

‘I think it’s because, you know, a lot of people want to see a different leadership today — I’m sorry, not different, but better leadership today, right? A better leadership.’

Johnson expressed his surprised by the way an off-hand comment he made to a journalist at GQ magazine about perhaps running for US president has reverberated.

And What makes Dwayne a good candidate for the White House? When asked what qualities make him fit to be commander in chief, he said: ‘I think more poised, less noise. The less noise part must have been really appealing to many. 

‘I love taking care of people. And I think that kind of thing really resonates with people, especially today. I love coming here to “The Tonight Show” crowd.’

As the studio audience were loving it, he brough them back down to earth. ‘Three and a half years is a long ways away. So we’ll see.’

The 45 year old much loved star said he has been considering moving into politics more and more as the years passed.
