Good morning Britain Host Piers Morgan confesses that the show is slowly killing him

HE is one of the most recognized faces in Britain and one of the most vocal TV personalities you have out there.  But it seems the show that made him so popular, is also wreaking havoc with his health.  Host of Good Morning Britain Piers Morgan has confessed he's unsure of how much longer he can present the show. The star revealed that the early mornings are "slowly killing him".

So how is our favourite TV presenter being killed by the medium he so excels in? Having just finished presenting the ITV morning show, which starts at 6.30am, when he spoke to Mirror TV, he revealed he'd gone to bed at 8.45pm the night before. Terrific!  I wish I could sleep that early—but wait,  there's more 

Piers added: "I woke up at 1am, 2am, and then 3am I got up and watched TV, so you basically become a complete zombie.

It seems he isn't alone in his assessment of early morning TV long term side effects. He explained further. "I bumped into Sophie Raworth at the Chelsea Flower Show and she did it for two years on BBC Breakfast with Jeremy Bowen and she told me he actually thought he was dying.

"He had all these tests, and he thought he had cancer. It turned out it was just getting up at 3.30 in the morning.

Once he quit the show all the body pains went away. 

Mr Morgan is a married father of four and has a lot to live for. 

He said: "It's killing me before my very eyes. It's the least healthy existence imaginable.

We're certainly going to miss him if he quits GMB but we wouldn't want to miss him on a permanent basis if the show ends up killing him!
