As two ego filled and undefeated fight champions clash in August, the world of boxing is talking of little else. The McGregor and Mayweather fight is billed to be one of the biggest ever.
The Irishman is the first fighter in UFC history to hold two titles simultaneously and now he will face the legendary Michigan native in a mega-money boxing match. who officially came out of retirement earlier this year.
UFC champion 'The Notorious' took a giant step towards entering the boxing world as he attempts to be the first ever fighter to defeat 'Money'.
In the words of Mcgregor: “Trust me, I’m going to stop Floyd and you’re all going to eat your words. The whole world is going to eat their words.”
Although The Ultimate fighting championship star has the odds heavily against him, their are still some fight fans who feel the their age difference of 12 years and the fact that Mayweather has been away from the ring for 2 years, might tip the odds in favour of the Irishman, and create the greatest upset in boxing history.
