Trump slams China for doing nothing after North Korea ballistic missile launch
North Korea continues to poke it's finger in the eyes of the international community as it launched another missile in blatant defiance of UN resolutions.
But US President Donald Trump is disappointed with China who are North Korea's neighbor and trade partner. A powerful nation in its own right, many Believe that China has what it takes diplomatically or with force, to stop dictator Kim Jung andhis country in their tracks. And Trump has expressed his disdain, as he stated that they were doing enough to stop the North's weapons programme.
The outspoken, twitter loving President wrote that he would no longer allow China to "do nothing" about the reclusive state.
His comments were sparked off by the second launch of intercontinental ballistic missile by Pyongyang in a month.
After the successful launch, the stubborn Asian country once again claimed the test showed they had the ability to strike the Entire US.
Although China condemned the test launch and urged restraint on all sides, Mr Trump was not appeased, and said they had failed to handle the situation with the appropriate actions, instead, were just all about talk.
The US Commander in chief wrote in two tweets:
"I am very disappointed in China. Our foolish past leaders have allowed them to make hundreds of billions of dollars a year in trade, yet they do NOTHING for us with North Korea, just talk,"
"We will no longer allow this to continue. China could easily solve this problem!"
Earlier in the year President Trump and his Chinese leader Xi Jinping discussed North Korea and the range of options available to difuse the dangerous situation. But unfortunately, all the options are failing and Pyongyang gets bolder everyday as the continue to defy UN resolutions by launching missiles.
Another of the North's neighbors, Japan are seriously concerned by her aggressive neighbor. Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe voiced his worry, saying that the threat to his country's security was "grave and real". These same concerns are also shared by Russia.
