Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie do not mince words when they open up about their private lives. Shortly after Brad's candid interview, where he revealed intimate details, and took the blame for their crashed marriage, Jolie is now following suit. Albeit in a more reserved manner than her estranged husband.

During the promotion tour for Netflix's "First They Killed My Father" which she directed,  the Maleficient star told the Sunday Telegraph that being out of the limelight for over a year had made public appearances like these tougher.

"This is the first time I have done this for a long time. It's not easy. I am a little shy this time, because I am not as strong inside as I have been in the past," she confessed.

Although Jolie's sudden split from Pitt shocked the world, it was the ugly aftermath which saw her take both gloves off, that really shattered their fans.

Jolie's public appearances have been sparse since the highly publicized and bitter split, but so has Brad's. While Brad has taken on self improvement in his problem areas, Jolie seems to have lost her wind for a fight, as both now work together, free of conflict to raise their six kids as amicably as possible. Good news is that it seems to be working. The not so great news is that with the dying down of tempers, the dramatic whirlwind has given way to inevitable nostalgia. 

But who can blame them—Brangelina was great while it lasted. And the very thought of throwing away all those memories can't be as easy as it sounds. 

When Angelina showed up at the Telluride Film Festival in Colorado for her new movie's premiere -- with all six of her and Brad's kids tagging along, it appeared the A list actress was finally ready to get back to work.

Fans of the pair can't help hoping that they would get back together. So it was a thrill for them, when Hours after the movie premiere, the Mail on Sunday published a report claiming that Angelina and Brad secretly met up at a private Beverly Hills home seven weeks ago -- their first face-to-face in 10 months since their split.

According to reports by The Mail on Sunday the pair are working to "'consciously re-couple' and have undergone intensive rehab and spiritual counseling sessions in an effort to start anew."

They can't seem to live together, but they can't seem to live apart either. Jolie has worked hard on herself since the plane incident, and so has Brad. Infact he has been praised for the way he dove right into his transformation.

The divorce will still go on. They never wanted to get married anyway, and only did so because the kids wanted it. So they want to really close that chapter and start anew, since they are still in love with each other,"
