Pop star Prince was killed by counterfeit drugs
Investigations have revealed disturbing facts that Prince was killed by counterfeit drugs.
Most of the drugs he had been using a year before his death were drugs without prescription.
Powerful pills found at the mansion of pop star Prince were mislabelled, investigators have said.
Several pills recovered from the Purple Rain singer's mansion were counterfeit drugs which contained the opioid fentanyl, the drug which killed him, according to officials.
Dangerously mislabelled. Many of the pills are said to have been found inside vitamin and aspirin bottles and tucked inside a suitcase and duffel bags in his dressing room.
The Purple rain singer passed away in April and post-mortem tests later revealed he had died from fentanyl, a powerful painkiller.
Investigators now believe that the 57 year old singer was killed by counterfeit drugs which contained the powerful painkiller that caused.
