Banana / Nendra Pazham Sweet Pachadi
A pachadi with the blend of mixed tastes and flavours that tickles our taste buds. A healthy dish that can be made very easily that could be served in a cup hot or cold at any time.
Heat a Pan with ghee and do the seasoning with mustard seeds and chillies.
Add the fruit pieces and saute for two minutes in medium flame.
Pour 2 cups of water in to the pan with salt.
Let the pieces get boiled for five minutes.
Add the jaggery powder to the boiling stuff and stir well.
Wait till the syrup boils well and becomes glossy texture. It will take atleast 5 to 7 minutes in medium flame.
Pour the tamarind pulp and mix.
After 3 minutes switch off the stove.

Ingredients for making Banana / Nendra Pazham Sweet Pachadi:
- Ripened Plantain / Nendran Pazham 2
- Jaggery powder / Brown Sugar 3 table spoons
- Thick tamarind juice or pulp 2 tea spoons
- Salt 1/4 tea spoon
- Ghee or oil 3 tea spoons
- Mustard seeds 1/2 tea spoon
- Green chilli and red chilli 1 each
