Comedian Jordan Peele horror movie Get out is terrifying(Video)
When a comedian makes a horror movie, you might expect to see at least some degree of funny in the scary right?
Wrong—Peele just got scary!
Comedian Jordan Peele made a horror movie and the trailer alone is absolutely terrifying. And I'm not kidding.
The trailer for horror movie Get out is not exactly what you might expect, but it will certainly exceed your expectations.
Jordan Peele, one half of the comedy duo Key & Peele, usually makes you laugh until you cry—but Get Out, his new horror movie, might just make you pee your pants out of fear.
An ingenious mix of racial relationships, hair raising suspense and heart pumping terror.
Judging by the trailer, Get Out seems to be about a couple (played by Daniel Kaluuya and Allison Williams, respectfully), who take a trip to the very white suburbs to meet Williams' character's parents for the first time. From there, Kaluuya's character seems to get trapped in a racially charged nightmare that somehow results in Allison Williams shooting a gun and a horrifying deer skeleton coming to life.
Admittedly, for the first 30 seconds of the trailer I was unsure if this was just some very on-the-nose joke Peele was making about the horrors of racism, but it becomes apparent very quickly that this film is the real deal and is intended to be taken seriously.
