Tragic Woman stabs fiance to death two months before wedding
For some people, there's a very thin line between love, hate, weddings and funerals.
When this young woman stabbed her her fiance to death just two months before their wedding, it seemed like nothing in this world is sacred anymore.
“The men of Ogun State Police Command have arrested one Omolara Oluwagbemi Abosede for killing her husband to be, one Sodiq Dauda,”
‘The incident happened when the couple whose wedding was slated for December this year had minor disagreement which suddenly and unexpectedly turned deadly. The argument which emanated from non rendering proper account of the gas business which the late husband entrusted to the wife”.
It was reported that the suspect claimed her fiance, Dauda had asked her to give a full account on a Gas business deal he had given her, but when she rendered a full account of the deal as he requested, he flew into a rage and beat her up, then sent her away from their home.
Abosede reportedly told the police that she called Dauda's mother who said she should return to the home so she could settle the dispute between the couple. Unfortunately, she took his mother's advice.
According to Abosede, as soon as she got back to their home, Dauda descended on her again and broke a bottle with which he threatened to stab her with.
She said took a kitchen knife in self defense and stabbed him in the rib with it.
The stab victim was rushed to Ijebu-Ode General Hospital by the policemen at Igbeba Division where he died the following day while undergoing treatment”.
Several lives damaged in an instant. Commissioner of Police, Ahmed Iliyasu, has ordered that the suspect be transferred to homicide section of State Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department, SCIID, for further interrogation and investigation.
A willing couple, a planned wedding and a short time to go—all turned to horror of hopeless pain and death, because of unchecked negative emotions.
