The American superstar Swift is reportedly dating very little known British actor Joe Alwyn. The handsome actor is best known for his titular role in celebrated directer Ang Lee's 2016 film Billy Lynn's Long Halftime Walk.
How did this unlikely romance happen? Well, Taylor has been renting a house in a North London suburb called Crouch End. And? You got it! This is where Joe lives— with his parents! Things must be pretty serious between them, because Taylor rented the house in order to be closer to her new man.
This is what a source revealed: 'This isn’t a new couple alert or a secret relationship – the only people this has been a secret to is the media because all of us, Taylor and Joe’s closest friends and their families, were aware they have been together for several months and have known each other for a longtime.

'After her 1989 tour and all the attention Taylor received, she learned she had to be more protective of her personal life and she and Joe decided early on to keep their private life private.'
Smart choice.
Alwyn sure has big shoes to fill as he becomes the latest in an intimidating list of boyfriends that includes Jake Gyllenhall, Harry Styles, John Mayer and Tom Hiddleston. But the couple seem to be great together.
The promising 26 year old actor is a rising star. Director Lee gave him his big break, with the young actor joining a cast that inluded Steve Martin, Kristen Stewart and Vin Diesel as teenage army specialist Billy Lynn.
'From the first reading, from halfway in the first scene, there’s no doubt, he’s top-notch talent,' director Lee told Indiewire. 'I was worried: Is he too handsome? But then his face is so compelling, it doesn’t matter.'
After that he got a major role in movie The Sense of an Ending.
Keeping it private with his girlfriend Swift, is probably his smartest career move. Something that took the popular singer a while to learn herself.
