Trump says he would be honored to meet Kim Jong-un
As tension rises between the US and North Korea, many fear the only thing that would break the deadlock is the most terrifying option of all—war.

Now, Just a day after calling North Korean leader Kim Jong-un a 'smart cookie', US president Donald Trump has revealed he'll be honored to meet the Asian leader but under the 'right conditions'
Trump isn't backing down, but unfortunately neither is the North Korean dictator. But strangely, as tense uncertainty mounts, it is the American Commander in chief that finds himself leaning towards diplomacy.
In readiness for conflict, the U.S has deployed it's Navy warships to the Korean peninsula while Trump also last week said he'll be sending another warship armed with Tomahawk missiles.
These measures occurred following North Korea's failure in a nuclear missile test, but Donald Trump aware that a war could break out any moment between both countries says he's still open to a diplomatic solution.
According to the US leader: "Under the right circumstances," Trump said Monday, in a Bloomberg interview.
"If it would be appropriate for me to meet with him, I would absolutely, I would be honored to do it,"
"If it's under the, again, under the right circumstances. But I would do that."
But all involved are aware that for this to occur the unrepentantly stubborn Kim must end all his nuclear ambitions if he wants diplomacy with the U.S.
One can only hope. But if his conduct and confrontational attitude is anything to go by, then this diplomatic scenario is far from realistic.
