Rava Roti
Rava Roti is a simple,filling and comfort food to have as breakfast or dinner. Rava Roti is a no onion , no garlic recipe and since veggies are added a healthy food too..
In a broad pan boil 5 cups of water. Add 2 tb spoons of cooking oil , 1 cup of grated carrot, 2 tea spoons of finely chopped green chillies, pinch of hing powder and required salt to boiling water.
Now keep flame low and gradually add powdered sooji and stir.
Break the lumps while stirring.
Close the pan with a lid and leave aside for 5 minutes.
Now open it and stir well. Switch off.
Transfer the stuff to a plate. Let it get cool down.
Add three tb spoons of rice flour to it and knead well to soft.
Make big lemon size balls.
Grease a plastic sheet or foil paper and pat the balls to rotis. Now the rava roti is ready to get cooked.
Cook them on both sides with oil on a tawa till the rava roti becomes golden brown on both sides.

- Asafoetida / Hing powder a pinch
- Water 5 cups
- Rice flour 3 table spoons
- Salt to taste
